The Baal Shem Tov, or Besht —  the founder of Chasidism —
met the soul of the Messiah during an ascent to heaven.
The Besht asked him, "When will the Master come?"
The Messiah answered, "When your wellsprings break forth to the outside!"
(from a letter written by the Besht to his brother-in-law about one of his soul ascents)

The 33rd day of the omer is Hod in Hod, according to the count of the Sefirot. The celebration of Bar Yochai, the day children get their haircut and men start shaving (if they stopped), the day perhaps when the potential wating to be revelaed on Shavuot is sufficiently manifest on the spirit level to allow us to breath a sigh of relief and plunge forward into the tachlis of making divine presence real.

El Mistater

This old world zemer goes through the Sefirot of the Tree of Life starting with Keter.
