The Baal Shem Tov, or Besht —  the founder of Chasidism —
met the soul of the Messiah during an ascent to heaven.
The Besht asked him, "When will the Master come?"
The Messiah answered, "When your wellsprings break forth to the outside!"
(from a letter written by the Besht to his brother-in-law about one of his soul ascents)

Suggested donation: any multiple of $5, 13, or 18. Why 13? The number 13 is the gematria for three precious ideas: unity echad – א=1 + ח=8 + ד= 4, love ahavah – א=1 + ה=5 + ב=2 + ה=5, and the thirteen attributes of mercy. $18 (for life, chai ח=8 + י=10) is the most common "Jewish" number for donation. If you don't want to make online payments, you can send a check to c/o Beit Ahavah, P.O. Box 28, Northampton MA 01061. You can also make a small donation through the iPhone app store by buying neohasid's Omer Counter.
