The Baal Shem Tov, or Besht —  the founder of Chasidism —
met the soul of the Messiah during an ascent to heaven.
The Besht asked him, "When will the Master come?"
The Messiah answered, "When your wellsprings break forth to the outside!"
(from a letter written by the Besht to his brother-in-law about one of his soul ascents)

Debbie Friedman—Shalom Aleikhem

A new Shalom Aleikhem by Debbi Friedman, aleha shalom, recorded this past summer.

Shalom Aleikhem

This tune for Shalom Aleikhem is known to most folks who will come to this site, but you don't know it like this.

Yedid Nefesh (waltz time)

Yedid Nefesh in 3/4 time (think fast waltz). Emilia Cataldo has created a version that interweaves two voices in harmony.

Tzur Mishelo (Breslov)

This is a Breslov tune for the well known shabbat song. This "more feminine" version comes from Midreshet Bat Ayin.
