iPhone | ANDROID OMER COUNTEROmer Counter and Omer Count include the blessing and the count, quotes for each day (many updated each year), plus the Ana Bekhoach prayer (and this year a prayer for Ukraine and democracy), links to art, and more. Omer Counter also includes reminders and notifications!
Get the Omer Counter app (now completely free!) from the App store! Get the ANDROID version from Google Play. David Cooper created an iPhone app in 2009 based on javascript for the omer widget I wrote in 2008 (see the widget at right), and implemented an idea I had: the Tree of the Sefirot appears, with a ring around the Sefirah of the week and a dot inside the Sefirah of the day. David Cooper also added the count formula and blessing in Hebrew, English and transliteration, and he updates the app with new features every year, like changing the day based on sunset in your actual location, keeping track of which days you've counted, and sending you reminders to count. The iPhone version of the app also displays botanical illustrations by Pauline Frankenberg for each day. I also choose quotes for each day. Every year they change a little bit, but in 2020 there were much bigger changes in response to COVID. NEW for 2020: you can also use the app to count the 49 days between Tisha B'Av and Rosh Hashanah! Follow the links to get the app for iPhone or Android.
